Background

Established in 1943, Elleair is one of Japan's top three comprehensive paper manufacturing groups. It began producing baby diapers in 1980 and adult diapers in 1993. The company utilizes recycled paper at a rate of 67%, significantly higher than the industry average of 63%.

In 2012, it invested in BioSpark to establish Daio (Nantong) Daily Products Co., Ltd. Since its founding, the company has undergone multiple capital expansions.
